Sarah Hitman and Mandy Coates met in college, where they both held a passion for beading and vintage jewelry. Years later they've combined the two to create their one-of-kind jewelry line, Mya. With the daily challenge of growing families, Sarah and Mandy are proud that Mya is thriving and reaching new heights every year. Together they have been creating their distinct jewelry for over ten years.

Sarah and Mandy spend countless hours traveling back roads looking for vintage brooches, rhinestone clip-on earrings, and broken jewelry that can be incorporated into their designs. Returning to their studios in Denver, they rework their treasures from the road. Both designers feel that by mixing the uniqueness of vintage components with semi-precious stones they are able to bring life to their creations. As designers, Mandy and Sarah are creatively energized by taking jewelry from the past and recycling it into a modern work of art to be enjoyed once again.
